No dozen 1st choice A graders missing. Also had 11 B grade blokes do a no show which proved embarassing having the C grade needing to play 5 quarters

Had a look as well and Houghton certainly play their oval very well and have some very big boys. Question will be how will they go on bigger ovals as I thought the heavier lads certainly looked tired and slower into the 3rd quarter and this was also exposed couple of weeks ago against Hope Valley.

Interesting that without the key forward from 2 wells United struggled for a focal point in front of the sticks.

Ahwell mate that happens. Hectorville were solid, they won the flag last year so they aren't going to be a push over. In all fairness both sides were scrappy as Mr Paddock expressed in both the A's and B's, not much to take away.
TT I know you were kidding ;) let me guess, you had 6-8 out?

Saw the last 10 minutes or so of the 3rd quarter and the whole last quarter of IF Vs HV, thought there was some very good ball movement from both sides and was very good to watch. Going on last years results and yes bearing in mind both not playing at full strength ;) if the IF losing margin was 30 goals in 09 then they are definite big improvers.

lk its irrelevant what you have out cos for 4 years at the valley never have we put our best side on the park as someone is always missing. that goes for every other club also, and that is what depth is all about. you need 30 players that can play A grade and hold their own for whatever time they are in the team. our trial form has been very patchy but hopefully we start putting some consistency together against lockleys this week leading to round 1.

Paralowie 2 goal victors over salis west today in a very scrappy game. Very low scoring game it was. Few dodgy umpiring calls late in the game helped our cause abit :D

Gonna be alot of sore lads tomorrow

i think if there is ever a time a team may look tired is in a trial, especially when up by 10goals.....plenty of players find it hard to put it all on the line for a trial :D
