where's the improvement and the challange when you have won 4 prems at one club whilst your on top its time to CASH IN would not have a problem with any reason this bloke used to improve his situation from now till he retires. If you pass up the coin now it might not be offerd again take it and help develope new challanges for other up and comers ,at a less successful club it will make you a better person.(not saying your not craig but you could have a bigger impact at another club) 8) futures so bright i gota wear shades

I wouldn't worry too much about our depth, Special.

I just had a look at the clearances.

Scooter McCade would have struggled to play many A grade games this year. Would have tore it up in the 2's.

There are a couple of young lads who appear to have followed (or tried to follow) Jarrad Daish to Valley. They all played either 16's or 18's last year. Apart from Daishy's little brother, the rest would have struggled to fit in the senior squads without quite a few injuries.

The other younger guys were guys who would have struggled to make the grade in our seniors. Good luck to them if they can play senior football at another club. Better that than being lost to the game altogether.

It looks like a couple of guys who haven't played for a while (Watts, Stockman and Goody) are playing in the Hills - possibly in the 2's with Torrens Valley (2's coach is a former Reynella player and mate of Sammy) or at OSB. Great lads but won't impact on our depth because they haven't played for a few years now.

What is the go with players being cleared to SANFL clubs? I didn't realise that was necessary. Is this a new rule? What is the logic behind it.

All in all, clearances out not a concern.

It is not a clearance RFC. It is a permit. Due to the online system a permit goes through as a clearance.
There has always been a permit system for local players going to a league club.

I hope this isn't on top of their eleventh hour removal of their 18's. Great form Mr J.

Not having an 18's is a huge step back for the rams. Recruiting for the a grade is a must for all but your own backyard is where it all begins. For all the moving forward over the preseason, this has just set you back a couple of years at least. Hopefully it is just one year and not too many players go elsewhere as a result.

players will need to play at other clubs so a one year release will be acheived and next year we will turn our attention to this issue by recruiting juniors over seniors fingers crossed a low act by coach this late in has let all our young fellas down i hope he's proud didnt have to take juniors but did
