Hey there marion people heard one of your coaches walked out and some players as well.
Perhaps you better go and buy some more.

I hope this isn't on top of their eleventh hour removal of their 18's. Great form Mr J.

correct junior coach taken 2 senior players and 3 18,s to meadows not the end of the world but now we can't field 18,s dont care reason why they left but if your not heading in the same direction then good to have them gone coach had been band from club many times for drunken behaviour and punched out our ruckman on a footy trip he has got into the ears of these boys and sucked them in. Good luck meadows and the local you'll have your hands full. Two players were coaches sons. And as for the go buy some more do you guys pay junior coaches cos we dont, neither pay juniors so that $5.95 will stay in our account.

Were the 18's pulled due to not having a coach or because of lack of numbers? I would have thought that losing only 3 players wouldn't be enough to cause a whole team to pull out...then again I don't know much.

Disappointing for the rams but as said before everybody needs to be on the same page to get a club back up and playing finals.

Just to put a few things straight:
We had a coach for the under 18's we have had since November - And it is not the bloke who was doing it last year!
We had enough numbers but unfortunately the bulk could not train due to working late during the week but would of played on saturdays - some got disgruntled by low numbers at training - I can understand that.
We have had to pull the team due to the actions of one person who had a problem with some kid and did not want his son around him - I find that hilarious and a complete contradiction - maybe a mirror is in need. Fine take your lad but for that person then to actively talk to other juniors is a low life prick act as far as I am concerned.
Due to these kids leaving others have now lost a bit of interest which was always going to happen. So well done moron and it is a shame that the young fellas have gone they are great kids. They are welcome back - person can kepp the hell away!
We will be cycling the lads through the B grade and they have all committed to stay with the club. Unfortunately the under 16's are about all 1st year players to the age group so we cannot ask for them to go up to under 18's.
We will be back with Under 18's next year I am 100% sure just very disappointing this has happened. We did this last minute as we hated the idea of doing it but again we were left no choice.
There we go now back to the rounds of footy this week - YEEEEEEHAAAA - BRING IT ON

well, i hear he is only playin B grade this year? that could be why i guess?

If a senior player (let alone a captain the year previous) has declared he only playing B'grade that season before a game has been played, he or the club would need pretty good reasons (such as work later Saturday afternoons). I dont know the guy or the circumstances, but stinks of a crap attitude somewhere along the line either himself or from the club.[/quote]

Out of the loop for a few days and some interesting reading! None more than our skipper of last year and the ill informed posts on this site.

Matty was skipper last year and am sure Matty would be the first to say a very frustrating year due to injury.
This year seen a new coaching staff and also leadership roles on field where all players had input in desicision making process.

Matty has had a solid pre season tho a late one where he has been on a managed programme and is now seeing the fruits of his patience and advice.

He has played in trials and his form has been solid with Matty playing all games in the senior side and will continue to lead on field>

Very interesting calls here! only 1 win over 10 goals! Cant remember the last time this would have happened in a round in the SFL. I think there will be closer to 5!

Spec me old mate! Stay off the Blue Lagoons.
No offence to HH and supporters, but if Hackham beat Valleys then Mr.J can keep the $100 he owes me from last years Twistie Derby.
Good luck to Cris "Chucka" Spehr in his first game as B grade coach tomorrow. A very tall side indeed!
