In my opinion the flies would have won last year if they didnt have to come up against a team that was on a mission to change the previous years result. The biggest loser this year is the towns for me as their b grade had it easy last year and the depth will be shown up this year.

What a stupid comment!

Bombers over Flagstaff --- 40 points
Shoes over Lions --- 60 points
Cove over Sharks --- 150 points (total mismatch)
Emus over Rams ---- 20 points (Marion looking a better chance the more I think about it)
Valley over Hawks --- 70 points (Hawks will be more cometitive this year, but Vikings much too classy for them)
Towns v. Twisties --- toss-up. I'll try Towns by a couple of goals

Should have made it more like 20 goals !!!! What a side --- they're awesome again !!
Yet again probable Grand Finalists, and yet again the most likely Premiers.
After taking in the first half at Lonsdale I got to Emu Park during halftime interval and thought my original tip was going well --- Morphett were up ten to eight.
Then they blew the Rams away in the second half --- five goals in the first ten minutes of the third term and ended up smashing them by more than eighty.
Smith or no Smith, wedding or no wedding, this lot are still incredible

Bag the points I would have to agree.it was a game played In 2 halves that's for sure.I thought marion were absolutely terrific in the first half, but quality always comes thru in the end.had mvale played 4qtrs of what they produced in the 2nd half they would have kicked 40 goals,it is mind boggling.anyway after seeing what the rams produced in the first half they will definately be in the top 8 perhaps even the 6.great that footy
is back!

Well that was just depressing.
We started the first half great and matched them all over the ground.

Then after half-time full credit to MV they were amazing and we sucked.

Pretty ordinary umpiring, not an excuse at all, but some very strange decisions that led to alot of frustration, especially from our part, so we need to clean up that aspect of our game.

Any other results?

It was quite amusing seeing Reid Beeching running about in the Bs!!!
(he did have a wedding i heard)

Well i think the recruit of the year may be a big chance to wrap this one up on current form... Flat out amazing to watch and the umpires will probably think the same.
