Personally i didnt really notice Ware until he went up to collect the medal! Shane "Log" Smith at centre half back or either of the Farriers would have been better choices IMHO...

Bad day for Morphies, we were beaten in nearly every aspect of the game. Hopefully its a lesson learned and we can get back on track for Porties this week with some big games coming up against Brighton and Valleys.

Reynella were sensational yesterday. They never gave the Emus a chance and thoroughly deserve the top spot they now hold. I know its only April, but could this be the year they finally do it ?

Yes its only April and yes Reynella looked super yesterday ... but same story last year too. As a reynella supporter, we all know the SFL season starts in late August. The signs are promising but a different day could be a different result. If Shorty didn't shank those three set shots in the third quarter when they were playing better footy, it could have been a totally different result as they were still within striking distance. But Shorty did miss them (and a straight in fronter from Pollard too i think) ...

When was the last time Reynella beat MV by 60+ points? I guess any 10 goal win against a team such as the current Emu's is a win worth savouring (just for a little while).

Ware IMHO was just ok, but did get on the end of alot of contested balls. For me, I rated young Broadbents game and was surprised not to see R.Fricks name in the best. Both had fantastic first halves when the match was in the balance. Match defining point of game was on far wing with Jerifalski wanting to paddle the ball over the boundary but Broady kept the ball alive somehow and the managed to get a handball out from the ground. A sign of desperation and who wanted it most on the day.

'Flies played well, no doubt about that, however IMO i thought MV's goalkicking execution in the 3rd was where the game was won or lost.... a familiar April it would seem.

I would suggest that in general umpires' selections would be more reliable than SportingPulse best players.

I don't know about SportingPulse but to suggest team managers just throw names together is ridiculous (and you should know it is). They and the coaches would be held to account at presentations by players and supporters. No coach would want that.

I saw the game and the coaches got it right IMO. Number 40 Shane Smith was BOG.

In my experience, the names in the paper are often different then those read out on club presentation night.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Hey juicy or special, things going from bad to worse. I see one of your recruits has headed back to brighton. Strange to see someone change their mind so quickly after joining the club.

Reynella far too good sunday. Won most positions on the ground. Well done to all involved in organising the day. Right from brekky after the dawn service to the last drink of the night at some ridiculous hour, a great advertisement for suburban footy.
