Think it's Robert jones. He was named in brightons c grade that was a forfiet. Was going to say well done to the towns for losing a crazy number of players and then putting a c grade in but I might hang onto that one for now

Interesting points from the weekend:

The self confessed top 6 aspirants in Marion, fall over to a hungrier Lonsdale! who wouldve of thought?

Valleys ticking along nicely, are the shoes a little too predictable??

On Mvale v Reynella on Sunday
- Its April
- Early knows the MV players inside and out, went in with a set plan to beat MV, not a plan he would use against any other team, worked well.
- Beeching looked half rat power, as did M jorasflasky. Injuries?
- M Short on the set shot is really terrible, always has been, surprised it doesnt cost them more games through inaccuracy?
- Very interesting that Reynellas 2 biggest recruits over the last 2 years (J Bayliss and T Billings) who were brought in to take them to that next level, both didnt play, and yet they beat MV easily and won most stoppages and centre clearances....... Maybe thay dont need them........ :o
- Wouldnt put Reynella prem favourites yet (I wouldnt have anyone yet, too early) but interesting how they go against valley, cove and MV next time.

Bring on the next round.

My guess is reference to Golding? Why wouldnt u? I think he is leading goal kicker!!!

As for Valley they where good but it helps when your opponent has 16 fit lads at half time.(not an excuse just a fact)

Is that Billings from Reynella a money recruit and if so does he still get payments for playing B Grade? For his sake i hope so because i dare say he might be there a while.

Reynella look to have the balance just right and were very crisp moving the ball - not sure accommodating another big man would be the way to go.

Couldnt agree with you more swoop. Was extremely funny to see an Under 18 put him on his ar$e and i definately know early wont tolerate him blowing kisses to the crowd all day. Their A grade definately could do without him IMHO.

Could the same be said for M/V now? I think they would have to have the tallest team in the league with Shorty, Bode, Beeching, Matt J all above 6'3.

Forgot the Bayleys P32. Stack one on top of the other and you get one that is 6'6''

Only lost by 10 goals that is a close game in sfl.
Time for you to disappear magic man.

10 goals well that settles it then doesnt it the league has no other choice but to have 2 divs. Reynella Brighton H/V div 1 the rest div 2. We cant keep having teams lose by 10 goals. I feel for the Reynella boys that have to play these meaningless games like sunday. The players dont like it the coaches dont like it and the fans dont like it just rocking up knowing the points are already in the bag. Gee have a look at yourself southern football league

Could well be on the money P32. M/V looked a step behind all day and could be because they were too top heavy. Add to that Pitto, Cale & Zaluski and that is 7 bigs.

Some similarities to the corresponding fixture last year when i thought M/Vale were outplayed, outcoached. Seemed as tho everyone learnt alot out of it and that was our last loss for the season...heres hoping history repeats..!!

Very impressed with the new Valley man Daniel May ----- he was the one who busted the game wide open in the third term at Noarlunga.
As Shoe Boy has already stated the Shoes were dreadfully unlucky with injuries during this game (a bit like the Crows v. Melbourne situation), but this man from the Valley can really play. He's going to make a big impression on the SFL.

Reynella far too good sunday. Won most positions on the ground. Well done to all involved in organising the day. Right from brekky after the dawn service to the last drink of the night at some ridiculous hour, a great advertisement for suburban footy.

Think you'll find Mr.J has his head firmly buried in a coaching manual.
