Can't be too many contestants for a resigning coach can there? Aldinga/Hackham are struggling but were always going to. The Lions have opened their account for the year, the Beach flogged Aldinga and Flaggies almost caught Cove napping yesterday. Porties are struggling - so that would be an obvious choice. Valleys, Reynella,Brighton, Edwardstown and Morphy's all travelling well, as are the shoes and Morphy Parks are struggling but aren't South of Marion. So who is the coach that resigned? I guess it begs the question.... rumour or fact???

No, if you had the same team as last year the ground wouldnt make a difference. But from the talk coming out of your own camp, things dont seem to good. If things are as bad as they sound this year we should be a chance.

Anyway, it doesnt matter what i think mate. We''ll just have to see what happens on saturday. My prediction is we will kick our highest score of the season thus far...might not win, but you never know what can happen...see you saturday champ..[/quote]

The ladder looks quite strange.
- 3 teams played 3 games
- 9 teams played 4 games
- 3 teams played 5 games

Valleys and Cove are 4th and 5th respectively and have had 99 and 127 points scored against. Reynella have played 5 games and are top with 369 points scored against.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

If Norm has in fact quit, does it have anything to do with Luke Berry losing the plot towards the end of and after the game. He appeared to be looking for someone to the extent he walked throught the MV changerooms half way through bish's post game address. He was clearly bothered by something or someone.

I was at the Shoe with the other group "navy" and informed of happenings at Hackham and yes the SFL have been informed!(my mail has more than one incident)

Great to catch up with Wedgie yesterday at the Shoe to see his lad in a reynella jumper was a bit difficult. :)

All credit to Townies they came out ready to play. We pegged it back in the last qtr and hung around in the third, but the last qtr was just phenomonal. The ball hardly came down the northern end and the Winies just kicked away. Good win in the end but the scores don't really show how close the first three qtrs were.

Utterly mystifying. The League's programming has been strange for years, but this situation is ludicrous.
I know the bye means it has to be uneven until byes catch up, but some sides playing two more games than others at any stage is a joke. All it would have taken is ensuring the four sides who played the March round took the next four byes. Instead we get a Premiership Table that is completely distorted.
