Seems as though Brahma didn't rate us after our win over them, each to their own but I find it surprising, unless they just rate Hectorville very high.

If the game was played at Smithfield I would have picked you blokes. You guys were very good last week. I just think that Hectorville at Home may get up. I think it may only be a couple of kicks in it though.

Fair enough mate, home ground advantages are huge in this sort of level, I think it will be a good battle aswell. I wouldn't say "we're back" it was good to get that first one on the board though.
Good luck with your team tomorrow mate, it would be good to be an understudy of Carey's coaching technique, he can deliver a message without all the carry-on.

ditto..plus no dickie!

Well he's been named.
Always had good games against Smithfield in the past. I remember myself getting a broken nose in one and getting sent off in another!
And a brawl in the B grade which spilled into the crowd at Daly in the early game as well.

Always know you're in for a tough game against Smithfield. Home or away.

Yeah, I remember that day, it got pretty ugly, both teams had their share of peanuts. Things are a fair bit different nowadays mate, it will be a tough encounter for both teams, good luck mate.

P.S: Does Heckle & Jeckle still sit up on the balcony?

It's gotta be one of the best ovals to play on with that balcony so close there and the banter that comes from it. Always enjoyed copping a spray from the monkeys hanging off there. Great facilities there. A credit to the club I reckon...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

well positioned, right on top of the visitors bench. the old bloke had too much to say a couple of weeks back. went in to have a beer with him after the game and could not see him anywhere.
the rest of the lads up there were just having a laugh and a bit of a heckle until the old chestnut priest joke came out of the mouth of one peanut. had that against rosewater late in the last quarter and again in the first quarter from a bloke on the bench in the 2's against hope valley last week.
