Possible inter association game! North V South?

North= Brighton/Townies/Marion/M Parks/Flaggies/Cove/Valleys

South= Reynella/M Vale/Porties/Shoes/Hackham/Aldinga/Christies/Lonsdale

Why would you risk injury in a nothing game?

Have the rest and move on toward september

Put Reynella in the Northern group and you've got yourself a deal, Ive always thought of Sherriffs/Pimpala Rd as the boundary for civilisation. ;)

Once you head over that hill, your in the country :lol:

I think what we can take out of whats happening at Marion is you can have a good budget and buy players BUT you have to get the right people, those that are there for the right reason. Lynch is on decent coin I have heard

Like the thought of north v south but in reality wouldnt be taken to properly. wouldnt want to risk injury for a "half" assoc game. wouldnt be played at full tilt dont reckon and thatswhen more injuries happen when trying to avoid them. hills are jerks for pulling out that would of been great and something for players to commit 2 but have week off this year..

Correct Vics01. I think the only interest from players in an Association Game is against another league that operates similar to ours and creates a point of difference for the players. My understanding is that the last time the majority of gun SFL players supported such a game was the KNTFL game under lights at Happy Valley a few years back. The reason: A league we had never played and the novelty of playing under lights. Unfortunately we were too strong but maybe in part for the reason that some KNTFL guns weren't interested.

Going by the Over 30's thread that would be Dad's Army vs The Rest. Couldn't play at night because the old boys would struggle to stay awake.

Maybe they could play it at Glenelg so they can get a skinful of coffee before the game.

That is of course if the Brighton playing group hasn't drunk the town dry due to the weekend off.

Correct! clubs that have the coin need to employ a RECRUITER to do the job of tracking down the good players mid/late season keep in contact with them,interview the players at the right time its all about the RIGHT bloke not always the most skillful player.It can be done sorry rams it looks like dogs breakfast at the moment (hope it improves)

Recruiter10 - looks like a dogs breakfast - where from the Hills League - you must have good eyes fella!
Unfortunately besides round 1 we have not been able to put our best side on the park, due to injuries, unavailable due to work or away.
No excuses we need to get our crap together and quickly.
For example we had 11 out of our best A grade team last week against Nourlunga for one reason or another.
We are doing it tough lately but you WILL see a dramatic improvement in the next few weeks.
There dam well better be anyway.
Bring on the games this weekend - good luck to all.

Shame about Hills FL pulling out it is a strong competition and would have been a great spectacle if both leagues had put there strongest line ups on the park. Maybe next year - BRING BACK THE LOVELOCK SHIELD CONCEPT I SAY.
League against league - Pride on the line for all involved and bragging rights!

Can anyone tell me who they think the more damaging midfielder is for Brighton - Kingy or Norsworthy?

I have a young relative playing at the shoe would love him to be at Kangys but as they say you might as well wish in one hand and sh1t in the other :shock: stayed for the whole day you have a nice club but i will say that your A grade side played like a bunch of individauls sorry MR J.The only downside to a great day on the balcony was that such a wealthy club but no-one bothered to do the scoreboard until half way through the 18s :oops:

Rich Complex - NOT a rich Football Club.
False perception by a lot of people - we have 23 clubs that play out of our community complex.
Hard to get Volunteers these days like any club.
Anyway play on.

You on the coaches facebook hey Tubby!
He wants to play with his brother & cousins as in the Bilneys - I believe he has contacted Morph Ville Pk so they are aware and hopefully no hold ups. He unfortunately for him did not make the Reserves side at Port Adelaide this week.
And yes he is welcomed with open arms!!
