Possible inter association game! North V South?

North= Brighton/Townies/Marion/M Parks/Flaggies/Cove/Valleys

South= Reynella/M Vale/Porties/Shoes/Hackham/Aldinga/Christies/Lonsdale

Put Reynella in the Northern group and you've got yourself a deal, Ive always thought of Sherriffs/Pimpala Rd as the boundary for civilisation. ;)

You are right there Wedgie....Everyone living South of Sherriffs/Pimpala Rd are civilised and those to the North are in the Rat race, the big smoke or anything else you wish to call it.

Congrats to Pt Noarlunga today - classic case of never giving up. To the boys from Morphy's - again you have led by almost 8 goals at 1/4 time and capitulated - shameful is an understatement - no heart, no passion but plenty who are willing to passionately grab their pay cheque and run away from the club and make their heart beat! Disgraceful.

On that matter - No 7 for Pt Noarlunga is a disgrace - his surname bears no resemblance to his onfield antics. To king hit a guy after 1/2 time and then knee another in the groin in the 3rd quarter - look in the mirror mate - you can play the game - you dont need to do that crap! The gutless punch cost Morphy's their best player - and him 23 stitches - well done champ - you will get whats coming to you one day - I like others cant wait! Karma is a bitch.

To Pt Noarlunga supporters - great that you were there in force - would have been nice to see more than 5 of you inside the club afterwards - goes for the players too! Its the one ground that you dont have to pay entry to, but it seems the one that you want to exit the quickest!

Finally the umpires -the Scott Mclaren look alike - shamefull! The other one - Shamefull!. The only thing that saved the two of you from being lynched was the fact that the Morphy boys were OK with the 2nd rate performance they offered up - the angst was to the players, however your "effort" was sub standard and biased - and the after match discussion between one of the coaches and the balding, slow, pathetic ump showed just how poor of an individual he is. Retire mate - some of the other clubs wont let you walk away with that type of performance.

Over and out!

I think you are being a bit unfair on the SFL in this instance, as my understanding is that the Hills Football League were the ones that pulled out at the last minute, saying there was not enough interest in the game by the Hills clubs. Would not surprise me if Owen Lamshed made that decision on his own (Hills League President)for memory he was instrumental is having the Lovelock Shield come to an end.Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.It is now obviously too late to arrange anything else which is a real shame, as I for one enjoy those types of games.

I witnessed the previously mentioned incident just prior to half-time at Twisties Park today .
It was a Gutless and shameful act by the Pt Noarlunga player, that then incited a mellee. The Umpires showed no control, with barely audible comments of "I'll be showing yellow cards if this doesn't stop" their only effort at control. The half-time siren is what really broke it up.

Were probably 2 incidents from Pt Noarlunga players that warranted either yellow or red cards, including the kneeing in the 3rd qtr right in front of the ump, yet none were drawn.
M/Parks played with no bench from half way through 3rd qtr.

Anyone know why both field umpires wore green shirts? Was it because M/Ville Park requested no orange shirts due to the clash of colours, or were they really rookies?

NOTE: At final siren the scoreboard showed MV Pk won by 2 goals. So it was confusing when Pt Noarlunga started celebrating :shock: Apparently the scoreboard attendant got a bit confused in the last qt and started adding and subtracting scores to such an extent they lost the plot.
