It was a Gutless and shameful act by the Pt Noarlunga player, that then incited a mellee. The Umpires showed no control, with barely audible comments of "I'll be showing yellow cards if this doesn't stop" their only effort at control. The half-time siren is what really broke it up.

Were probably 2 incidents from Pt Noarlunga players that warranted either yellow or red cards, including the kneeing in the 3rd qtr right in front of the ump, yet none were drawn.
M/Parks played with no bench from half way through 3rd qtr.

Anyone know why both field umpires wore green shirts? Was it because M/Ville Park requested no orange shirts due to the clash of colours, or were they really rookies?

NOTE: At final siren the scoreboard showed MV Pk won by 2 goals. So it was confusing when Pt Noarlunga started celebrating  Apparently the scoreboard attendant got a bit confused in the last qt and started adding and subtracting scores to such an extent they lost the plot.

What's going on at Porties?
Number 20 for their U16 team has been a loose cannon for a long time now with his coaches and his club seemingly doing nothing to change his ways. He was involved in a few incidents at Reynella yesterday, the worst of which being him spitting at a Reynella boy. With his club not being pro-active in sorting him out, I encourage Reynella to report him and bring things to a head.
I believe that this same boy was involved in an incident whilst playing a junior game for South Adelaide a few years ago which saw him dropped from the squad. Why can't Porties see the problem and sort it???

All umpires officiating matches involving Morphie parks will wear green from now on to avoid colour clash. so your correct.

Not a lot of talk on here from the M/V supporters, what happened yesterday. I tipped the Emu's to bring the Vikings back down to earth, but was horribly wrong. What seems to be the problem? It seems most of the players have been available but some are playing a bit under 100%, is this the main problem? Surely Smithy wasn't THAT valuable!

Yes young May did play very well. I know it sounds like excusses but the Emus do have at least 4 or 5 injuries to key players, plus Shorty went down with a knee injury early in the game yesterday. No Smithy does not make that much difference as Michael Zaluski is now playing Full Back and has been in the best players every game since he has left.

not if the sportingpulse site is correct, MZ wasn't named in the bests for rounds 2, 3 and 5. meaning only rounds 4 and 6 he was in the bests.

apoligies if the names on sportingpulse aren't correct.

P32 I hope your captain's shoulder is ok from when it smashed into the head of one of the smallest Lions players at pace, off the ball while he wasn't looking. Hope He's OK, seems like a good bloke. It was great playing the last quarter with 17 players because of it. Hope he gets up for next week.

As a neuteral observer I think you will find they had the score wrong for most of the day.
As soon as Porties went the knuckle Morphy Parks stopped playing footy, maybe worried about how they were going to look for the chicks at The Highway. Porties skills in the first half were terrible.

Are you sure your talking about the right bloke? Can't say I saw it and would be very out of character from him. But his shoulder seems ok.
