I reckon the absentee that would have hurt them most would be B.Bayly.

Certainly couldve helped. So couldve earl, bennetts, ellison, and sampson. Having said that, the guys who came up were more than capable, so H Valley too good on the day.

Geez they are some quality outs. I know Bayly has been struggling with an injury I guess taking off the week before the bye could've been a smart move.

A bye would be handy P32, however brighton at brighton awaits this week.

 Whoops, I got a bit ahead of myself there I thought everyone had a bye this week, but alas it is only us. Must have been thinking of the June long weekend.
My guess is that you aren't going to disclose to much info on here but what are the chances of these guys playing this weekend? And please don't respond by saying simply 50/50... ;)

As a neuteral observer I think you will find they had the score wrong for most of the day.
As soon as Porties went the knuckle Morphy Parks stopped playing footy, maybe worried about how they were going to look for the chicks at The Highway. Porties skills in the first half were terrible.

Yer fair point but they are only kids and i did see the boundry ump tell them to add 2 goals to the roos in the last qtr so not all their fault we all knew porties had won.
As for players not coming back would wage a bet that the parks get more people back at club on a sat night than 90% of other clubs, but most go home straight after game b4 headin back for awards later.
The roos MASSIVELY lack mature older bodies and heads IMO. Nobody really to look after the young blokes when it gets physical. Its all good to go for youth but you need a mixture and atm we dont have one 30 or + player in the team.

Very disappointed to lose but proud of the way the boys played. Certainly played with plenty of
spirit and committment.
Probably the difference between the two sides was the goal kicking, Happy Valley made the most of there opportunitys and we didn't. Kicking 6 goal 12 points isn't going to win you to many games. Polly kicked 1 goal 5.
All thoguh Zaluski has been great at full back, if smithy was there the Z would have picked up "Ricky" May. That May can play. We started with Billy "the kid" Carroll on him and then
Micheal "the other kid" Smith both would have learnt a lot from the experience.
In fact we had a very young side out there 9 players under 21 (4 have A grade premiship medals.) 4 of them are Straight out of U18s. ( 2 have A grade premishp medals.)
They are quality kids and well done to our coaches for playing them. When other clubs are
out recruiting,we are develping.
Missed Tyron Bennetts on saturday he has been on fire.
Well done to Happy Valley. Winning 4 out of 5 games could almost get club of the week.
Morphett Vale got a big game this week Brighton at Brighton. Lose this one and will be hard
to make top 4.

Looks like Mr. May made an impact ----- that guy is an absolute gun

Yes young May did play very well. I know it sounds like excusses but the Emus do have at least 4 or 5 injuries to key players, plus Shorty went down with a knee injury early in the game yesterday. No Smithy does not make that much difference as Michael Zaluski is now playing Full Back and has been in the best players every game since he has left.

not if the sportingpulse site is correct, MZ wasn't named in the bests for rounds 2, 3 and 5. meaning only rounds 4 and 6 he was in the bests.

apoligies if the names on sportingpulse aren't correct.

Has played very well in every game hard to get in best players when playing fullback against
marion, aldinga and porties.

i wouldnt be too confident if i were you Mr Bang...

with our junior base we can easily cover for the so called injuries/departures...enough to cover a meager Aldinga side anyway...even with Tyler...

if tyler kicks 7, that will make your whole score 7 2 44 to Hackhams 15 5 95...thats my prediction...

not sure if you're being serious or not? 15 goals? where might you be planning on them coming from?

planning on brining up juniors in a must win game, that i dare say is going to be a very physical game? i'm not sure if that's the greatest idea! but, hey, go ahead!

i've read on here that you're a tagger? on my own admission, we probably only have 1 guy that is worth tagging, and that's obviously Ty. but if you are as short as i can remember you being from last year, that might be a bit of a stretch for you? may have to double team him? or adopt some dirty tactics to take him out of the game?

so you dont even rate Rigby as a descent player? Jeez...high standards down at Sharkland...

well we wouldnt rate aldinga any higher than Mitchell Park, and see what we did to them? i believe we kicked over 20...

we prob wont bother tagging anybody this week, because why tag someone who isnt going to get the ball? and even if he gets the ball, he'll be no more forward than the center line...with no one to kick to because i think by half time aldinga will be trying to stop the hemerage....

now i'm getting the feeling that you're taking the p!ss, and you actually have zero confidence in your own team?

of course i rate Riggaz, but he's a ball winner, and history suggests that you can't stop his type of play, you can merely slow him down. whereas Ty is more of a target for us boys to hit up on a lead. So anyone with a bit of disipline and is just willing to punch all day would at least have a slight chance of stopping Ty.

are you going to put your hand up for the job on either of them? i couldnt see you doing such a thing.

funny you should say that MATE...because last year i "tagged" riggaz the first time we played you...and did enough to keep him quiet for most of the game...and then when we BEAT you i had your mate Shrive...

yeah ill play on Ty...ill even ask Denis to start me there...so when you walk your sorry arse out of the changerooms after your B grade loss with an icepack Glag-wrapped to each calf, you can wander over to our beer tent ($4 beers GET ON IT) you can see your saviour get beaten by a 5ft 10 70kg hack of a footballer (me) and that would pretty much sum up Aldingas season...

first of all, $4 beers is a goer, and may just make me like you/your club.

you kept rigz quiet? i'm pretty sure he kicked 6 that first time ya's played us! and got 3rd best, behing ty (10 goals) and marky walter (8 goals)
you're a funny kid. i say kid because you must be about 17? i rekon i was 5'10" when i was 12, but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but only because i seen on another thread on here that you've just bought a car, so i assume you're old enough to drive.

if you actually do want Ty, what will be your mindset? surely you know one tagger cant stop him? he got judged BOG (by the umpires) in a 45 goal thumping against Emus. you realise what a bloke has to be able to do to get BOG when his team loses by 270-odd points?

Oh did aldinga get beat by 45 goals? to Morphies? who lost to Happy Valley? Who we lost to by 25 goals...oooooohhhh...we might win by 20...cheers for the percentage booster...we might even finish 3rd bottom with two massive wins against you...

i believe i got 2nd best that game too...so kinda evens out...he is a souths player you know...would be silly for me to compare myself to him...

where were you anyway mate...i didnt see you on the field...oh thats right...coz you cant even make an A grade side that gets beaten by Hackham...ouch

you got 2nd best when you're man kicked 6 from the middle on you?

St Kilda's Clinton Jones tagging Carlton's Chris Judd. Judd kicks 6. But Jones still get's 2nd best?

what's that say about the rest of the "team"? the guy that Ty kicked 10 on get 5th best?

i reckon riggaz only kicked 3 on me...i was put on him AFTER he started kicking goals...

anyway...i thought you were running marathons last year? what happened to that? i think its just the fact that the beers got the better of you and now you cant even run...maybe you should wear cricket shoes...i hear they're more comfortable for the larger of men...

from all your talk of ty, im surprised you dont have a posse' for him...seems like hes all you have...oh and riggaz...we dont have any big names...we just have 21, young, hard working, home grown (not from morphies) players that might startle you with their endevour that you may even fall off your esky...

HH3 obviosly got no idea were your players are coming from, 2 of your A graders come from M/Vale,Northcott also did some time at M/Vale. I'm sure Blake Mosar Isn't home grown.
Hackam and Aldinga Should be a great clash. Good luck to all, hope you get a good crowd.
