Coaching position was advertised as it is in our constitution. Oldie was never told he wasnt wanted. Oldie applied and was chosen by the committee to be the best applicant. We will be definitely fielding 2 sides. No merges happening here. Any other rumours that need to be squashed??

No rumours, but a Sturt (double blues) and Smithfield (cats) supporter calling herself panthergurl requires clarification! Too early in the day to confuse us like that.

Staggering. Only played footy against them since I was about 5 and always thought they were the cats.

And I haven't played footy against Smithfield since the NMFL folded, perhaps the first season of amateurs for those clubs.
