They wouldn't want to ask for too much coin, they're a bit tight with their money down there. A couple of possible players have already had their hopes dashed at the dome
How are footy clubs supposed to win in the money argument. Salisbury North are getting accused of trying to buy premierships and Portland are being accused of being to tight, can someone give me the figure clubs should be spending ??
Don't think any club really gets criticised for not paying enough. That's the way city clubs should be heading anyway.

Piccachu....
Any truth to the rumour Club Legend Timmy Upton shopping himself around at the moment? Apparently Rosewater were close to acquiring him last year.

There were rumours going around last year that he was moving on due to the fact his pet event (Miss Portland) had been scrubbed from the social callender. as far as i am aware the fully grown midget will still be at the dome this up coming season
ANOTHER Salisbury North player has been suspended over an incident stemming from the SA Amateur Football League's division one grand final replay. Shane Jordan was last night hit with a six-game ban (two games suspended) for striking Rostrevor Old Collegians opponent Sam Bridge during the September 27 game at Thebarton Oval.
It follows suspensions to Jordan's Hawks teammates Callum Hay and Leigh Stones last month.
Hay has been banned for life from the league after a six-game suspension for engaging in rough conduct and a nine-game suspension for making contact with the umpire.
Under SAAFL rules, players suspended for 12 or more matches are banned for life from the amateur league.
Stones copped a seven-game suspension for striking.
Former Salisbury North coach Eugene Warrior received a four-game ban for abusing an umpire in the same game.

That Rhys Clinton was useless for Freeling a couple seasons ago. Surely there'd be better ruckmen than him getting around in Div 1. Especially at 1k+ a game.

I don't think he will be anywhere near that figure mate.

Well whatever SN are spending it isn't working. I guess the obvious thing is if you're going to pay players make sure they are the right fit for your club on and off the field.
Agree! I also worry that Clinton will not be the right fit. Big question mark over his commitment and capabilities to fit in i wouldve thought? Good player but to say he would be best ruckman in Div 1 is a stretch.
Yeah he's definitely número uno for me. Heard he was doing it that easily for bordertown last year that he played some games with a blind fold on just to challenge himself.

And both arms tied behind his back too...
He's a class act, that's for sure.

I'm not sure who Kerr is, but yes Henley and SPOC's ruckmen I would rate ahead of Clinton. TTG's had a big unit rucking for them this year too, not sure of his name... McEntee from Uni is more than handy too. Goodwood's ruck's would be as good as any getting around too I'd say from what I've seen of them. Some good ruckmen getting around in D1 in 2013. Portland to have a few handy big men next year too from what I hear.
It looks like Ben Nason from centrals could be suiting up for snfc next year to play with mates after a few seasons of uncertainty he may of had enough although I hear Woodville west torrens are very interested in him also
ive seen the footage many times and can say callum hay never hit anyone he wasn't done for striking he was done for engaging in a melee, shane Jordan and joey hay were also sighted for engaging in a melee how can 1 team have people in a melee and the other team has none, I guess the sn players must have been wrestling each other once again college teams being looked after and Salisbury north being unfairly treated

Not that old chestnut again
