Match implies a competitive fixture.
Now if you'd said 'this week's trial game' you'd be on the money.
Like anyone cares who wins this absolute effing travesty.

Almost as good as the Crows '14...

HF ; Craig Bradley, Dwayne Russell, Williams
I would say there has been many better looking forward lines. The Port one of the early 80s was unbelievable as was a Glenelg ones featuring the likes of Kernahan, Copping, Hodgeman, McGuiness and Tony Hall.
Perhaps you are very young but your miles off in your statement
It's all subjective, but I think Westies in 1983 had the best forward line in my 55 years of following the SANFL :
Forwards : Meuret Luders and the changing rovers, Grosser and Conlen
Half Forwards : Morris Lindner Mike Smith
Premierships are usually won by on ballers and defence, I would argue that Westies most potent weapon was their forward line.

Unless Clare oval has had a bucket load of money spent on it since my junior days it would be safe to say the oval will be a bog by 1/4 time of the curtain raiser if that is even allowed to go ahead. Scoring will be difficult

They had Phil harder on double a last night and he said the crows have inspected the ground and say it is up to the standard of most sanfl grounds. So it shouldn't be too bad, although some of the sanfl grounds still get muddy

The conditions do mean this game has a better chance of being closer than it otherwise may have been. Port comfortably still though unfortunately.

No they haven't, interest in and media coverage of the SANFL has decreased this year.
The two new clubs have attracted interest but solely in terms of their league teams, not the competition they're playing in.
