Re: AFLW 2022
Am I missing something here?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

Have I missed something? Where in the release does Adelaide announce where she is going?Brodlach wrote:Booney wrote:Adelaide said she's exploring her options with an "expansion club", the f*ckwits are running with that as a dig at Port when it's a sign of respect to Phillips. It's not Adelaide's announcement to make, its for Port and Phillips to announce and by allowing that to happen Adelaide show Phillips the respect she well earned with them.

Absolutely agree it wasn’t Adelaide’s “right” to announce where she was going

There was never gonna be a right or wrong way, some will sook, some will praise.mots02 wrote:
Yep agreed, I have no issue with it.
All the Crows have done is keep members / supporters informed that she's leaving.
Didn't name Port in their release, leaving room for Port to make the announcement of where she'll land. (regardless of whether it was obvious or not).
It's great for the game and something Port will need as a selling point to prospective players, both her and Adelaide have been kind to each other, Erin has been the GOAT of the game on an individual note and Adelaide have been from a team perspective.
Neither party is going to leave disadvantaged or short changed.

Re: AFLW 2022
It doesn't and I'm saying they did the right thing, the "f*ckwits" are the ones on the socials who see it as a dig at Port.mots02 wrote:Have I missed something? Re: AFLW 2022
Adelaide announce she is leaving at 7.50am, Port announce her signing at 7.55am - quite obviously both clubs agreed upon this strategy with scheduled announcements, all seems quite reasonable to me

Re: AFLW 2022
So with Erin now officially joining the Power, how many days will it be before the first campaign begins for the AFLW Power to wear the prison bars?
