Re: Celebrity Casualties
Dikembe Mutumbo, the finger wagging, shot block machine of the Nineties, aged just 58.
His Nuggets rainbow jersey is one of the best ever, IMO. Also was lucky enough as a kid to own a pair of his adidas shorts, my word they were cool!

Well, they were cool in 1994!

Tight as Nathan Buckley's hammys.
Would turn up at the workshop in his rolls and pull a heap of shit part out of his boot and ask to get a quote on having it fixed.
He would argue over $2. Funny character.

Re: Celebrity Casualties
Thankfully I got to see him perform in Melbourne in January. He was struggling a bit then, had to cut the show short, before playing a few extra songs with his band being on stage, and him resting back stage singing from there.Booney wrote:Paul Di'Anno, former Iron Maiden front man who toured here recently, 66.

Fernando Valenzuela, aged 63.
Legendary Dodgers player who was the first pitcher to win the Rookie of the Year and the Cy Young in the same season, and is one of two non Hall of Fame players to have their number retired by LA.
