fantastic day down at the valley then if thats the case and they go down in all 3 games. well worth the cost of a home final. well done to them.
Some clubs have the luxury of being able to afford home finals Blackandtheblue. Why did you guys play at Payneham again??
funny you should say that as a club we were told we wont be charged due to our teams being seperated so what happens when we rock up the old hope valley donkey on the gate says "na its $5 for a car park. We need to cover the cost of hosting the final" Besides our ground is in as bad conditions as yours so to play at home would be a disadvantage it wasnt a financial decision.

What we did at Salisbury too, seemed to work pretty well...

We won the game fair and square - but unfortunately its in the tribunal's hands. Will provide more on the incident after that determination.
Hectorville v Hope Valley this week in a knockout final. Should be a cracker!!
Golden Grove players took out the medal in the A's and B's. Pretty good effort. Bartman was a very unlucky runner up in Div 6R, leading for most of the count..

was it that shane brown from GG who won the medal?

Isn't confirmed yet is it? Either way heccies to win whoever they're playing by a few goals.. what a game, the fella in the goal square for hecs won't ever be playing on again... good spirited final played well by both teams! congrats to our b's, showing plenty of class and much hungrier for the ball, HValley didn't want a piece of it and started losing it at the umpire.. better fix that up if they dont want to get knocked out in straight sets..

Yeah is confirmed. Was ruled in our favour, as it should have been. Should be a great game between HV and Heccies. Both games during the year were close, so we are looking forward to it. Our B grade need to work a bit harder if we are to beat GG and Friars next time, and certainly need to turn some form around this week against Uni. Looking forward to seeing the results in the GG/Friars games in both grades.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!
yes was a great game- thought our backline stood up well cause u guys smashed us in the middle. and guarantee he will go back and have a set shot next time- harsh lesson learnt by hectorville on the weekend, had two great chances in the last 90 seconds to snatch the game and blew them both. this game will stand us in good stead for the rest of the finals i suspect, we wont be making the same mistakes twice. im pretty sure we will buy the home game this week, get over the line and be pumped for the prelim.

I thought both backlines stood up really well, although milikan still managed 5 in a match winning performance... still only 11 goals each wasn't it? very big oval with hot weather also contributed to the lower socring game as well as pressure around the ball carrier..

It's not that we didn't want a piece of it, you guys didn't let us GET a piece of it!! Full credit to a much better side on the day. It won't be like that if we meet again next week I can assure you.

I heard Heccies were missing a key player because he got locked up for an outstanding warrant. Any truth to this?
