And the fact he had a dodgey knee when he left port its a remarkable return for the hawks.

Where would he rank in the Greatest Indigenous of all time rankings?
Would be a top 5 lock for me without thinking too hard.

Re: Hawthorn 2018
On the Hawks, they been the surprise packet of 2018?
Still in with a sniff of a top 4 berth. Did anyone have them in their 8, let along (potentially) top 4?

I think we've seen quite a few this millennium to fill a few spots in that line up. But gee, it's an impressive list.
Some names for contention off the top of my scone:
Cyril
Mal Michael
Eddie
Buddy
Neon Leon
Jeff Farmer
Varcoe
Wells
Stokes
Troy Cook

They have definitely overachieved but well done to them. I just hope that Cats give them a touch up on the weekend.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Nope, I wasn't, but Betts and Rioli take that spot ahead of Wingard anyway.

P. Burgoyne, whilst a very good footballer perhaps a tad fortunate to make that team.

Agreed, several modern day players as noted by LM would probably dislodge some of the names listed there. ( Another Wingard could replace )
Add to that several in the initial side I've not heard of lest seen them play, makes it hard to keep them in the side.
