As I said previously, we need an inside defensive player in the paint. The number of O boards Perth got was crazy

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
I'm far from the expert and i love DJV's passion but kind of see why a coach would make the call.Brodlach wrote:DJV starting on the beach was odd
At times he frustrates the daylights out of me, taking real poor shots, being a tad selfish in offence and slightly lazy in defense. He has the quality to make that all work though. But could understand a coach wanting a more steady/solid start.
Is a quality baller but would be a tad frustrating to coach at times. Albeit is the skipper so must bring some really good traits with him.

I agree with all of that but IMO Kenyan isn’t a starterwhufc wrote:I'm far from the expert and i love DJV's passion but kind of see why a coach would make the call.Brodlach wrote:DJV starting on the beach was odd

I think Wells is just sending a wake up call to DJ
It worked as he played well when he got on court

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
The 36ers have announced the signing of import Troy Brown Jr. to a one-year deal. He's a 6'7" swingman who previously played 6 years in the NBA with a number of teams and played in Puerto Rico last season. He is expected to make his debut on Sunday against Cairns.

Also is some sad news for the Brisbane Bullets star import Casey Prather has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
I would imagine Brown will probably come off the bench initially. He's a swingman which is someone who can play both SG & SF but that was in the NBA I would imagine in the NBL he would play SF with some time spent at PF. He shot 35% on 3pts in the NBA which is around the average there so should be some sort of outside threat in the NBL.

Hopefully he fits in pretty quickly
