heres a hypothetical to ponder..in div 4 unley and pulteney come down..golden grove and greenacres go up to div 4..in div 6 clg and wos come up..central united and ingle farm go down to div 6..lose 4 northern teams and gain 4 southern/adelaide cbd teams..to join kenilworth plympton, bos, smithfield, elizabeth and rosewater..
then we see how the north likes the travel)
Who cares about hypotheticals.

Team Gms W D L For Agst Pts %
Greenacres 6 6 0 0 865 420 12 67.3%
Golden Grove 6 5 0 1 776 520 10 59.9%
Plympton 6 4 0 2 653 448 8 59.3%
Blackfriars OS 6 4 0 2 602 605 8 49.9%
Smithfield 6 3 0 3 637 486 6 56.7%

Ingle Farm 6 2 0 4 479 660 4 42.1%
Kenilworth 6 2 0 4 403 703 4 36.4%
Central United 6 0 0 6 353 903 0 28.1%
if it dosnet cause to much of a reaction i would say 4 premiership contenders, i'll add blackfriars in there just because we are not at full strength, majority of the boys should come back by golden grove which would make the grand final rematch more interesting. in regards to relegation def central united to go down. im unsure to the other tho, because i thought ingle farm wernt that bad and they somehow blew a 6 goal lead to kenilworth, thats unforgivable, i am yet to see kenilworth but im looking forward to the match next week. rosies should stay up and i'd be surprised to see elizabeth go down

Geez mate, I admire your confidence in your team, especially going down to Greenies by 112 points, I don't really think anyone has been at full strength yet. On the same token, wins against Elizabeth and Rosewater must've been encouraging, I think you needed to be more convincing against Central United and Ingle Farm to be considered a genuine premiership contender just yet, but good luck.

Re: SAAFL Div 5 2008
I noticed a discussion earlier on in the season regarding "teams of the year" for different grades, I thought it would be an interesting concept. The Div. 5 standard has been pretty impressive so far this season, does anyone want to name some players that they have seen as outstanding so far this year.

Re: SAAFL Div 5 2008
Scudds from GG is a very hard match up.
Ormond-Allen, exceptional skills, can see why he played AFL, can't believe he rucked though given his height.
Great summary of Plympton there Zedman, how true.

players like muir and gino can be match winners..then they have those guys like schauer and another one who wears 66 i think..older guys who get plenty of the ball and are always used..and then they have the younger ones who run all day..havent seen smith yet the full forward..is scudds a big unit?

Re: SAAFL Div 5 2008
From GG
our top 5 for the year thus far would be
Kunhdt - Hitting stellar form
Simmons - Dangerous Every week in both the middle and up forward
McCarthy - Ill put it out there and say he is the best CHB going around
Darkins - Ruckman who has been consistently good thus far. Playing well above what is expected of him. Probably a suprise leader if the B&F was taken now
Sparnon - Started the season with a bang with BOG performances in the first two games then has been struggling with annoyance injuries with over the last few weeks. Only played a quarter against Greenacres (bad cork) and Plympton (Sprained ankle).
