Heard sfl hav to shrink their season

Also are clearances being submitted yet, is the list online?

They've already released to the clubs a draft indicative fixture.

Grand Final to be on 26 September (AFL preliminary final Weekend) so essentially the same as this year.

Clearances don't open until 1 February

Can we release a couple of the big name signings in the last month jo172 or is that going to upset some of the club hierarchy??

Depends whether we're talking about your inevitable return or not?

Feel like it's worth getting our new C Grade Coach's name out there if you want to do the honours mate

OK so it turns out my mail on Rowey was wrong... Or made up :D

The actual make up of our coaching panel has only one change. New C grade coach is Chris "Roy" Drage. Whilst Rexy has taken over from Maccas in the 18s. Looking forward to a big year in Div 1 in 2015. 8)

If 2 teams agree to it yes. Not sure the other 8 teams will shiv a git. GF rematch seems logical or Div 2 GF rematch as long as it is a SHOC home game ;)

hmm gf rematches are strange IMO playing the team ya just played in a gf, one team had a spectacular night, the other lived in a house of pain for weeks and weeks

the premier always lacks a little motivation to beat them again, and the runner up is out for vengence and likely win most times??

if there was a friday night game to open the season, which 2 teams would make you get up & actually go to the game???

That would depend on AFL and SANFL fixtures along with if I had any mates playing in the game. I love my SAAFL as you know and could happily watch neutrals play but I am in the huge minority. I don't think it would pull a huge crowd by any stretch.

Scotch played SHOC at the Bay earlier this year in a Friday curtain raiser from memory and it's was not as if there was a large contingent present for that. Funny looking back on it as Scotch won by 11 goals. They really are bad at finals.

I truly believe teams would prefer a round 1 home game as their club then will get bar, BBQ, meals, canteen etc.

true that, clubs dont wanna lose their home game so a...

henley vs port districts at henley

would get a bigger crowd than a...

a henley vs port districts at thebarton

would the friday night game draw more revenue for the home side, than the saturday arvo game? :)
