He's a genius. Too bloody smart, does what he wants and I still don't understand how he's allowed to roam free like that.
If we won, it would not have been an issue. Without knowing the effectiveness of each possession (except for the last one lol) maybe he was getting them in areas the Crows were not concerned about? Dunno. We're not the first side this year to allow that many poss. to him.
I don't necessarily mean tonight's game, he does it week in week out. He just sets the Hawks up so well, when he has the footy in his hands he makes the game look like its in slow motion and more often than not he disposes the ball to his teammates advantage from some unbelievable scenarios. Just too smart and too effective not to be tagged IMO.

So much this. 15 pts up with 5 min left. Lock it down for 2 min and its game over.
Umps officiated horribly in the last minute, but the crows skill level and awareness for the state of the game in those last 5 minutes gave the opportunity for a poor decision to decide the outcome of the game.

Poor decisions (Tex on Gibson, Burgoyne in the centre, free to Poppy, no holding the ball against Smith...)

I'm confident the Crows will respond. Already shown in the media they don't give a shit about the outside and they just focus on what they can control, can't fault them so far this year. No Karma, it's just footy and if they are any good they'll fix coughing up the last 3 goals.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Rubbish. A lot more water went under the bridge during the game than that. If you blame umpiring decisions in the last 5 minutes of any game of footy for a loss then keep learning. Umpires make far less mistakes than players....

I get the shakes anytime I see Gibson come into view you just know he's going to spoil it.
He is the key to their defence. If you watch your teams forwards get torn apart by him every time by jumping all over them, either spoiling your forward or marking it then setting up their rebounding, you would understand. He is the best in the league for it.

Which post? I've made about 10 lol Did the umps make a difference? yes Did Hawks deserve to win regardless? yes Did Crows deserve to win if they did? yes

If you believe that was the difference, that's fine.
Swans with a handsome victory over the Eagles. West Coast looked the goods in the first quarter, but Sydney clamped right down on Priddis and Gaff, and the Eagles didn't have much up front with Darling and Le Cras putting in shockers. Wellingham fought hard for WC but Sydney's plethora of contested ball-winners gave them the ascendency and they got good value from their kids again. Traveling very nicely the Swannies.

Far tougher at the ball when it was there to be won. A few Eagles looked content watching on when things got hot.
