I thought I read someone saying he won't play ? :D

Well done SANFL for ensuring Glenelg got in in the Grand Final. They have only been the best team all year but im glad the SANFL must have stepped in to ensure they won.

8,974 - highest prelim crowd in the last 11 seasons, 2nd highest since 2004 and above average for post-1997 prelim crowds.

Also pretty good considering Glenelg probably contributed to 95% of that number.

Surprised by that stat . I wouldnt have said 95 % being Glenelg fans but certainly more Glenelg fans.

But, but, but nevermind ;)

With that percentage of Glenelg fans have they underestimated how many premiership t-shirts they need.

Clearly majority were Glenelg supporters, just pointing out what a Muppet Chapman is. Looked terrible on TV.

Chapman never made that assertion.

Was someone else from the Crows.

Glenelg played very well. Their forward marking power and goal conversion first rate.

... And a fair point to make as well.
If the Crows fans couldn't be effed turning up today, then clearly they never will.
A pointless, souless exercise, completely demeaning to the SANFL and all who love it, does nothing except underline the arrogance the Crows have for any entity weaker than it.
One of the Crows original platforms was to be some sort of a sheild for the SANFL against the rigours of the professional comp. Then they throw this bloody black hole that no one could give two figs for at the competition and seemingly washes their hands of any responsibility.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Pretty simple to understand why they have no support. For the Crows to have supporters in the SANFL their members typically over the age of 40 would have to turn their back on their SANFL team.

Of course, this is what most on this forum understood. Unfortunately 6 clubs and Chapman didn't.

One of the most uninspiring, boring and apathetic Preliminary Finals in many years.

Not having a dig at Glenelg but the Crows obliviously again started to think of the Mad Monday celebrations like they did against Sturt in 2016. (after beating us the previous final)

Seriously, why are they in this competition ?

What about a bit of credit to the Bays and Sturt 2016 for that matter

Me thinks this is totally irrelevant now :(
