In all seriousness Pag, you guys need to smash Elizabeth if you want to be around the mark this year in D4. Not having a crack at Elizabeth, but a top D4 side should easily account for a D5 team, especially one that has just come down from D3. Ive seen Haven play and they easily beat a questionable D2 side - they are the bench mark at the moment, IMHO.

Newman, How are Portland going to go this year, a couple of big inclusions, Bird, Heffernan, Upton. Bird will give the medal a big push surely. He will join the elite group of medal winners if he does. Virgin, Cains, Moose.

What my point was Bulldog was that i think a top D4 team should beat a D5 team easily. Salisbury West and CBCOC both were streets ahead in D4 last year and im guessing no D5 club would have got near them. Im using them as a yard stick.
Unley were round the mark last year, there B grade were very good last year. You would think they would be ok this year too in both grades. How did you guys go Bulldog ?

Last weekend we played Myponga and it was a good decent game, not like the games i was involved in last year. it was two great teams in a hard effort from both. i played in the ruck for all four quarters and went ok against guys that were half a foot taller then me. should be a good year for plympton this season going by the trails we have played. i have also noticed that three of the teams in D5 this year are the bulldogs, plympton, central united and adelaide litheran.

Bulldog from what i heard you didn't really try to improve your previous clubs on field efforts. I watched the Myponga trial didn't see you win a tap in the half i watched and pongys ruck not 1/2 foot taller, also watched a few games last year thought you were pretty ordinary.

i'll back that one sledge. if bulldog is who i think he is, he's nowhere near the player he's pumping himself up to be. especially because it sounds like he thinks he'd give Dean Cox a run for his money. absolute tool.

How many of you guys will have triple headers this year, & what do you think of the concept?
Do you think the 10:30 start for C's will have an adverse effect on numbers?
