Has the SANFL come out and said anything regarding Norwood and the salary cap??? The silence is deafning!!!

Do agree the SANFL could put this all to bed by simply coming out and saying the rumours about the Norwood FC are not true.

I'm not normally one to back Norwood but didn't they say in their statement that the SANFL had confirmed to them that their payments as lodged were under? Would have thought its Norwoods issue to take up and if I was them, I'd be onto my lawyers to take Dittmar down.

How would Dittmars legal representation mount a defence? By being granted legal access to every financial document held at the club for a specific period of time?

Dittmar would have to state why he believed that Norwood was over the cap and produce his evidence in the form of witness/documents that led him to make the statement.

The lower placed clubs get the benefit of the mini-draft selections which would save them money. What about the pints system that they use in regional footy, does that work?
