It was a two point win.
14-11 (95) to 13-15 (93).

Obviously not..DOH
It also did mention that Kilburn were playing short on the field too...

Can clear up the rumour re the bourbon incident. no 22 for Salisbury had a drink from a water bottle. He spat it out and said 'that tastes like beam". I thought he did it in the second quarter. I heard him say it and didn't think anything of it, thought maybe some oil or deep heat or something got on the bottle. Other people overheard it as well and by the time it went around the oval and back the bourbon rumour had started. Unfortunately the rumour is as untrue as the allegations Kilburn bought a flag.
Thanks to North Haven in the B grade. They were the best side we played all year and the Grand Final was another good clash. As much as the club cops it on here they seemed like good blokes and should be proud of their performance this year coming up a division. Also hope the bloke who decided to head butt our captain is ok and all forgiven after he apologised to him and myself in the rooms later. Now the hard part of going back to work tomorrow.

That's what I've heard too.
You would THINK that the winner will be forced to go up at least! I suppose this also hinges on how many clubs from Div 3 have put their hand up to come down.

Congratulations to your boys Beef. Can't say much more than we were beaten by a far superior team and all the guys conceded that. We had a real good year after coming up and it was always going to be tough playing a team in a GF who hadn't lost a game all season. That's a super effort no matter what grade it is.

Our club doesn't know where we are playing due to factors completely out of our control, so I don't know how others can possibly know. Unless other people know something about the make-up of the league in 2016 that we don't?
Is it worth looking at just the premiers & wooden spooners getting promoted & relegated each year for SAAFL. Theoretically a team could go up through the divs without ever winning a flag.

With that being said, I'm preparing for Div 3.
So you have signed with Gepps Cross then? Missed Mordaunt & Capa too much

Do you think that sucks or are/is HV okay with that.
Well every clubs goals is to go be successful i class going up divisions as success even tho the ultimate success is winning flags i like the 2 up 2 down 4 new clubs every year keeps the league interesting!

Bit of both. Obviously we would've liked to have won a flag along the way, but we are more than ok with the fact we are now in Div 4 instead of Div 7
