No way Martin gets off, Blakey lucky not to be eating through a straw for the next month.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Not nervous at all, can't see us getting within 5 goals of them. Anyway, all just a bit of fun, isn't it?
Got your orange ready?

Saw a little Twitter thread where a Crow was showing off his GWS guernsey that had just arrived in the post.
Interesting times.

I must say you're doing a fantastic job of managing expectations for Port!!
I am flip-flopping on this one. Usually the home team wins in the semis, and really Port should win, but it's hard to overlook each team's respective form lines. It's also hard to imagine Port winning a knockout final (today is the 9th anniversary of the last such occasion BTW). I think Port are a bit banged up too.
But then again, Port beat the Giants only a few weeks ago.
I'll say the Giants narrowly. May end up changing my mind again.
Melbourne to beat Carlton.

Port game sold out yet? Makes a joke of that 69k membership tally if it’s not. I can hear Ted Bullpit now, someone should blow up membership tally’s. Put the money on the fridge chocolate frog

Re: AFL Finals Week 2
Wouldn't expect more than 35k.
The supporter base is disenchanted with the coaching appointment ( “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” ).
The pricing is a factor, my tickets at ground level were $82 each. Shit seats in the nose bleeds are about $40-60 each.
Season ticket holders have the ability to pay their $400-500 tickets across 10 monthly installments, the one off hit of $300-400 for a family would be prohibitive in our current environment.
From the visiting side point of view, they have a reported 33,000 members, how many of them are passionate enough to be prepared to travel for a GWS semi final? Not that this is tipping point but you'd think a big club would bring 5-6,000 more people than GWS would.
Maybe they'll get there with all the Adelaide fans getting on board this week.
