First year so I’ll cut him slack but did say about a month ago that some senior players aren’t too happy with the “game plan”Dragonfly_Eyes wrote:Skills, under pressure and in open play, are just not good enough.
Decision-making under pressure was terrible.
Coach's game plan* of ring-a-ring-a-rosie, chip-chip, sideways/backwards/whatever would have resulted in at least 6 of Centrals' goals.
* "game plan" is being generous, I'm not sure why Sheedy has fans.

a well informed sanfl person says it wasnt sheedy who was responsible for the eagles 2020/21 flags but rick mcgowan, thoughts?Jim05 wrote:First year so I’ll cut him slack but did say about a month ago that some senior players aren’t too happy with the “game plan”Dragonfly_Eyes wrote:Skills, under pressure and in open play, are just not good enough.

Can only imagine the frustrations from players who had been instructed to kick instead of handball a majority of their footy careers.

Really good win today.
Finished with 2 on the bench
If Callow doesnt get a minimum of 4 matches its a joke hope he enjoys his suspension

Heard Olly Shaw ended up in hospital and was still pretty ordinary last night after Callow
cleaned him up yesterday .Really hope the SANFL look at the outcome and suspend him for at least 5 matches
bet they wont though .

Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
I thought Norwoods midfield had the better of ours overall and it was our defence that kept us in the game
Monty Luca Adams Kendall were amongst our better players on the day
Annan looked rusty early but grew into the game.
We will get smashed by sturt this week and have Harry back after the bye.

Hard to tell from the vision but along with the body charge he appears to show and arm / shoulder towards him too…. That’s a 6 weekerBrucetiki wrote:Callow's been referred directly to the Tribunal

Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
The fact he leaves the ground before contact and then immediate gives Shaw a verbal once he is down doesnt help his case. I think his season is done.mots02 wrote:Hard to tell from the vision but along with the body charge he appears to show and arm / shoulder towards him too…. Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
Good to see Callow go straight to the tribunal .
Hopefully the tribunal does the right thing and gives him a big suspension .
Really tough of him to have a go at Olly after he did what he did .

Can Centrals/SANFL appeal the decision for being too lenient.

Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
3 weeks thats a disgrace obviously heavily concussing someone means nothing to the SANFL
they should just let players do it all the time now if its only 3 matches for that.
Totally inept decision bet if it was the other way around we wouldve got 6

Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
Disgraceful penalty, how can they just use the base sanction, when he left the ground, and then stood over him mouthing off, clearly indicating he intent was to injure. Injured player pretty much gets same penalty of 3 games due to 21 day rule, if he has recovered in time.

Re: Round 13 Central v Norwood
Callow getting 3 games for an intentional action makes no sense.
This was the perfect incident to make an example of SANFL.
