We all wish Benny the best. We were blessed to have him back for 2 years. He too me is an absolute legend on and off the field. He has time for everyone. Even gave a few tips and helped some C graders out. Good luck to him.
And yes i will be stepping up as A grade ruckman this year.
Dave Rogers and Swits will be playing on this year. and we will have a secret weapon so all our oppisistion dont get too chuffed about us losing Benny H.
or those looking for a club closer to the city (& adjacent glorious Prospect Oval), come out to Fitzroy FC, Swan Ct, Renown Park.

Where u can go for a hills run running from goal to goal!
As an x Elizabethian returning to the homeland I can tell you that Wayne Hughes will bring up to 6 players from last years losing A-Grade grand final side from Kersbrook-Brian Quill, Andy Webber, BJ Hughes, Lee Hughes, Dave Reek and Dale Hourus, to name a few.
I know that Andy Webber has been chasing old Eagle mates such as Richard Marr, David Thompson and Graham and Boma Vardy, Aaron King and Jason Wozniak from Gawler Centrals so if these players return for a re-union year the void of Halliday will be some what filled. Will be sad to see him leave though as he has been the backbone of the Eagles for the last couple of years and is a top bloke, would have loved to have had another year with him.
Look out for Trinity Old Scholars in the next few years as some of these players will probably finish up their careers there to help boost the boys from Div 7.

Most of hose Kersbrook guys were undecided before xmas, wonder if James gettin the coaching job and Stewie Dew possibly playing out there will influence their decision?

Wouldn't be the first or last time either, lizbeff. Plenty of blokes would knuckle their sons to death if they even thought of changing clubs- I dare say you'd be the same if your kids wanted to play for another club (especially Blackfriars.... )
