What some people don't realise is Hardy the ruckman they speak of has a much less talented, almost unknown brother that also plays at Mitcham. But you won't have to worry about him this year. Or Basket Weaver for that matter.
And the Hawks will be fine without TQ given our new co-captains for 2015, two great lads, who will take the field
Surely losing Quinn will hurt a bit mate, he was one of the main two we spent our time planning for in the lead-up to playing you. Obviously he didn't play much but when he was on the field, he still felt like your most influential player.
Might explain why we got up?
We'd obviously rather have him playing with us than against us.
Wello played for the crows a few weeks ago when we played them. Not sure if the squad has been cut further Since then. Will be a good pickup for Broadies. Interested to see how he goes at the higher level and how deep his bag of tricks is. We made no secret of trying to sign him this year. He never gave us too many headaches but only because we put attention into stopping him.

I'm not sure if this is the final nail - make of it what you will - but relevant clubs got this email yesterday from HQ (re-printed with permission);
The League Executive is meeting to discuss the composition of the Division 3 and 4 grades. It is possible a spot in Division 3 may become available and as a matter of course we would like an indication of whether either staying in Division 3 or enjoying premature promotion is of interest to any club.
Invitations are offered in the order listed below. 2 clubs have already indicated their preference to stay in Division 4 but for protocol I would appreciate a formal response from all clubs as soon as possible.

My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit

I thought Pooraka finished 4th and would be above Hope Valley on that list?

I've heard North Haven will be putting their hand up to move straight up to Div 3 with all there recruits and big names staying on from last year division 4 will be a walk in the park according to many of there players. They are already eyeing off Div 1 in years to come
