It's clear what he's saying.
After round 19, a Saturday 4pm game - our lowest drawing timeslot - vs St Kilda, our average crowd for this year will fall below that from last year.
Declining crowds, despite our rise from 10th to 4th, clearly show that the crowds are becoming bored of the bells and whistles that came with the new oval, and before too long, we will be back to having 25k at games just like the footy park days. Adelaide Oval will not be the savior of the Port Adelaide Footy Club.

Now I'm not sure I agree with all of that, but it's clear that's what he's trying to say.
Youll have to forgive Morell the man is very very simple/dumb.
Im glad someone else had to spoon feed him the info this time.
Keep up the good work Morell.
And remember everyone is laughing with you
UK Fan the first person in history to claim intellectual superiority after someone translates their gibberish into English and then states he doesn't agree with it.
I think the opening line of Traders post says it all.
some people have div 7 intelligence I guess.
Frankenstein brain hurts bad.
Hahahaha!!!!!

See where I am going with this? ....
Absolutely... i agree that revenue is not directly correlated to attendances... but you would have to admit that its a pretty significant factor? and if attendances are declining that at some stage they will contribute significantly to the clubs capacity to bring in a profit?
Sure, I would agree, if they were actually declining.

yep using the trend line from 1997 it has gone up.
but surely 2014 reset the bench mark? from that point is a clear decline.
So they're not declining now? Make up your mind.
Why not pick from Ken Hinkley's tenure? Why not pick since we recruited Ollie Wines? Why not pick any number of metrics? Surely, surely! You're not just plucking sections of the data to suit your agenda?

I am sorry, Trader is much better at deciphering rubbish than I am. I tend to give people credit and assume they're not making incredibly stupid arguments - I thought there was no possible way someone would be trying to make the point you were and figured there must be some sort of missing component to your argument.
Alas, I was wrong. You were in fact trying to argue that Port's Crowds were declining and it would impact on revenue.
Completely my fault, I agree. My Div 7 intelligence got the better of me.

i think we should go back to 1870... got some stats on those years?
2014 , the first year at AO set a new benchmark. On a decline since then. No Agenda, just a couple of facts... i know how much you love dem facts

there is a clear disruption in the stats due to adelaide oval. so they should be treated differently.
Ohhhh right. So when "disruptions" like what many posters have mentioned in this thread don't suit the agenda - they're dismissed. Timeslots, price, weather, bandwagon etc
When they *do* suit the agenda, they're valid?
You cant pick and choose.
Data is data. Ports crowds are fine. Ports revenue is fine. Port. Are. Fine.
