At least he wont need to bother filling in a report ;)

At a guess, he was trying to get an outright.

Probably should worry about the win in the first instance and then if the game opens up then go for the outright

but I am old fashioned

I know some blokes that would have got in their cars and driven off if I had made that call when I was Captain

My brother would have been the first of them

I see your trying to get some players from your higher grades to come down to play Modbury tomorrow. now that's a joke

Ah, the LO6 plot thickens. Modbury have won all the games they have played, but are yet to play Port Districts or Mawson Lakes. So, Freaky, does that make you the captain of one of these two teams. Can you report back in a couple of weeks and tell us how the lesson went?

Have played them twice this season and didn't see any champagne or team meetings. 4 or 5 of their players should probably be playing in their B or C grade but they were ok blokes.

If you are from Mawson Lakes or Port Districts I don't think you are going to get anywhere near them.

Well Port districs didnt get a chance to beat them beacause of the heat out and Mawson Lakes gave them a touch up

Seems two weeks in a row opposition teams are thinking outright against Brahma and end up getting nothing. Maybe next time the Hectorville coach will worry about about passing the other teams score before telling the Brahma coach what to do WHEN they declare in front of Brahma's first innings score.

Port Districts v Brahma Lodge is a real relegation battle - loser to go down and the winner to stay up

Heard that ICC walked off but no idea as to why. Brahma have appealed and there is a hearing tonight or tomorrow? Perhaps someone from Brahma can shed some light....

Word on the street was that ICC appealed for a caught behind, it wasn't given so they uprooted the stumps and walked off.

I also heard that they bring their own set of rules too.

Most self supplied umpire games are generally ok.

But certainly someone has some serious explanations to give and most other clubs would surely sort it out after the game with the ATCA.

That would explain why ICC entered Brahmas score as 1 fa but Brahma have put both their openers as not out.
