We have a group of kids who are getting crushed by this... Those that are any good will be off to somewhere else because we aren't going anywhere...

Bring back the paper bag recruitment, buy 3or 4 guns... We must have plenty of money in the cap because we shouldn't be paying anyone more than base...

Agree with all that.
We have to go after free agents and land 2-3 good players.
Cripps, Curnow, Weitering, Marchbank, Docherty are as good as any youngsters in most teams but they need senior players to lead them.

Tom Lynch(GC) and Sloane surely must be on Carlton’s radar.

And Bolton doesn’t seem to have any structure or game plan about him.

He needs to get some shit in him and stop talking in circles.
He’s starting to wheel out the cliches at each press conference he does as well.

Speak your mind and be truthful and stop trying to be the nice guy.

Carlton have also got Lobbe on their list.

Kruezer has been grossly over rated for years and Casboult isn't any good. You've got no spine, no leaders outside Murphy and Cripps and Bolton has no idea.

You've turned over 42 players in 3 years and you've gone backwards.

I can’t argue with any of that other than I do rate Kruezer but I think he’s lost interest as anyone who’s played 200 games and mostly losing ones would.

I’d move Bolton on and start again(again)!

Nothing will beat Friday night, at least a few people gave Essendon a chance, Collingwood were no chance!

Essendon have loose players everywhere, continually outnumbering Port at every contest, a reflection of their work rate. This is a classic Port away game spud up! Structures are nonexistent at the moment.

Terrible isn't it, too many players not up to the level these days. Getting rid of GWS and Gold Coast would go a long way to solve this


Great point LMA - my sentiments exactly its a joke.... They should never have bought GWS or Gold Coast in & spread all those top draft picks they received to the other teams in the AFL & that would have been so much better.

GWS only had 11,356 at the game y/day & Gold Coast cant draw a crowd, the poor games & floggings we saw yesterday weren't good for the game.
