Was driving behind a car yesterday, the rear left wheel was wobbling badly, looked like it was only a matter of time before it decided to disengage itself from its host, so I thought I’d do the right thing and let the driver know when we were both stopped at a T-junction.
The dude in the car says thanks, but shrugs his shoulders and drives off, I reckon I followed it for another couple of kms.
1. How the faark did he not feel the back end wobbling like jelly on a plate?
2. After being told that the wheel is about to fall off, doesn’t even bother to pull over and have a look?
Next instalment of this series …
Yesterday, the car in front of had something sticking out of the front left side, they were in the right lane so I moved into the left and went side by side to see what was going on. The plastic fender guard was hanging on for dear life by barely a screw, with the rest of it now perpendicular to the car hanging out by about a foot. To top it off, the tyre had ground down about half of the bottom of it as it wedged into the wheel well.
Look over to the driver, a middle aged woman oblivious to the car cannibalising itself.

Yesterday I filled up for the first time after the price has gone bonkers, $1.01 per litre more than last time, and then it went up another 10c a few hours later.
The missus, on the other hand, drives a diesel …
Diesel $3.09 today, was as low as $1.79 only a few weeks back.
Australia relies on everything being transported so going to see some massive price rises soon
I just paid $2.99 for diesel at Melrose Park South Road.
Ol’ mate in his V8 Land Cruiser next to me was filling up when I pulled in and was still filling up after I had paid and was driving off.
Probably filing up both tanks
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Yeah, before it gets expensive.
Diesel currently $3.16 at most servos in north-eastern suburbs

Hopefully starts coming down a bit. Believe a boat full of Diesel arrived yesterday at Birkenhead.
I drive for a living, thankfully I get a daily fuel levy which is adjusted weekly depending on the price at the bowser. I feel sorry for those poor bastards driving around who don’t get assistance & get paid shit money for ad hoc work.

I was so broke after filling up I had to get a small iced coffee instead
