it is a bit disapointing that is has come to this as they are very good footballers, and would have helped us to where we want to go in the 09 season. but you cant force people to stay where they dont want to be. but like smelly said it might be a bit hard to get 2 clearances in the year.....

I'd say very disappointing for you guys.
You'd think if someone were to commit, sign a clearance etc, that they'd stay even if for just one season :?
Will be interesting to see what does happen with clearances etc.

I spoke to one of the players yesterday who has been cleared to Hackham but is now training with Aldinga?? said he knows the coach at Aldinga which is the exact same reason he went to Hackham in the first place. Bit stupid if ya ask me

I've heard they were 'encouraged' to sign on the first night they trained down there.
As they are all fairly young I guess they found it hard to say no.

Im pretty sure they'd been training with us a few weeks before signing. Still piss weak to leave before even playing in a trial game.

we are talking young lads not mature men.
The kids properly dont have someone to turn to for advice except club coaches who are telling them to sign for them and are more worried about their future and not the yound lads

You talking like someone got on their case about signing. Dennis invited them to play for us. They came out to training. We asked them if they want to sign, like you would with anyone, since they have to be signed to play and the season was approaching. They signed. Then left a few weeks later.

I hope they decide to stick around but they're not showing much respect to a great coach who is as respectful a person as ive ever met.

Mate relax dont even know the kids and the comment was not directed at any perticular coach.
My point was there young and by the sounds of it they have got clubs chasing them they need someone independent (father) to advise them.
personally i would rather your club get there services

these players are hardly young lads, they were all aged 20-23. Probably need to start maturing soon

I was thinking the same thing. They'd be older than me.
