Absolutely nothing

Misso and kid left back in April so first Xmas without them in 13 years. Neither of them have spoken to me since then.

For 3 days I been looking at the empty spot where the Xmas tree has been for the last 13 years with presents stacked to the ceiling.

Not everyone has had a Merry Christmas.

Apologies as it’s not in the spirit of the season I know but I got nothing.

I’ve been in a similar boat and it’s a very empty feeling, you come across as a genuine “good bloke” and it’s unfortunate that they’re the ones that get shat on.

Take care mate, tomorrow is a new day and we can’t change what happened yesterday, I’ve developed solid coping mechanisms.
