Re: EPL Season 2014/2015
i have seen true 0-0 bore fests thou.
3 years ago we played newcastle away for the first game of season and all the hype about the new season, i fell asleep during that match it was that boring. My partner at the time was the first game she ever watch of the EPL and she characterised that match that every EPL game was like that.
She never watched another game of EPL, mind you we split 3 weeks later so lol

no, i didnt want to be seen with someone who pretends to like a football club, you know, like the bin dippers . When they are winning , they are everywhere yet when they are losing, they are never around

It does make me laugh, all my Arsenal supporting fans, none of them have any other reason to supporter Arsenal than that was the club they chose 10-15 years ago coincidentally when Arsenal were a force now carry on like they are hardcore supporters who know what it's like to support a'smaller' club.

I supported Arsenal because Dennis Bergkamp became my favourite player when I first starting watching soccer during the 98 world cup. I looked up who he played for and Arsenal it was.

there was plenty of "fans" who jumped on Man utds bandwagon also when they were a force
Yeah, its all Arsenal supporters who jumped in 2004 to Arsenal when we went undefeated and no other team has these ever.
Now, leave me alone while i go and see my next door neighbour who started being a man city support last year after years of frusttration with tottenham..
comical

That's my point I would honestly say 90% of Australians I know who support Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal only started supporting them because of the success they were having.
I use to love the conversation 15 years ago, why do u go for man united, my aunties cousin nephews boyfriends sister is from Manchester so i go for United. Oh ok you do realise the majority of people who actually live in Manchester go for Man City, who the f**k are they

The last bit is somewhat of a myth. Plenty of United supporters in Manchester and there are statistics that back that up. Something like 85% of season ticket holders have their residential address in Machester and this has been the case for many years. I would say the City is split 60/40 towards the blue half though.
Im one of the many millions of United supporters with no family ties to them but my reason for chosing to support them was all because of Fergie. As a Aberdeen supporter from way back I didnt really follow any English sides but most of the kids at school supported the two Liverpool sides or Arsenal, when Fergie went to United I decided to follow them.
I do find it funny though that I have attended more Arsenal and Liverpool games than most of the supporters of those two clubs I know

I reckon you'd find that a fair percentage of 'international' Manchester United supporters believe the club is based in London. They wouldn't know Manchester exists.

Re: EPL Season 2014/2015
I'm like that with Melbourne Victory, I use to support Carlton SC in the NSL because my old man was a mad Carlton Football Club fan I was slightly interested in them and called them my VFL team
When the Victory came in they consisted of mainly Carlton fc players such as Thompson, Colosimo, Muscat, Markovisky etc etc so it was a natural progression
What I have found with Liverpool supporters amongst my mates is that they didnt jump on the pool because of all the success but more because there dad, grandad supportered Liverpool but most of there parents jumped on the wagon of success the pool had when they were 'the team'
It is another funny one though when you also hear how everyone who has family from Liverpool 100% of them support the pool and you never hear of any of them supporting Everton.
I wish people jumped on West Ham because of all the succes we have had lol

I have an Arsenal supporting mate who swears he goes for Arsenal because all his family is from the suburb of Arsenal, no amount of google searches or anything can disprove in his mind his family are from 'Arsenal'
His never heard of Woolwich though
