Gurge were bloody good too.
What’s the story with 2 drink limits and then they close the bars before grinners started!

Re: Bands coming to Adelaide
I hope Jamieson was in better nick Saturday night than he was on Friday night, cooked is an understatement. Nearly toppled the kit over, was awfully out of sync with the back up singers, quite disappointing in all honesty.

I remember when he did an interview about 15 years ago on Andrew Denton's show and admitted he stole money from his Grinspoon band members by cleaning out the band's bank account and blew it all on drugs. He's always been a dickhead.

No signs of that Sat night, he was his usual eccentric self, good vocally and as a showman was brilliant. I think he performs his best when Grinners play flat out for an hour.
Was it all of his solo stuff Friday night?
TMOC Friday night, looking forward to this one.

He had Davey Lane from You am I with him and a couple of lads I didn't recognize, was mostly his new album with a few Grinners numbers thrown in. Had clearly had a big afternoon.

Re: Bands coming to Adelaide
TMOC were incredible at the Gov Friday night, so tight for a band 30 years on, they make simple music complicated in a beautiful way. Sounds like they will be back touring Ill at Ease next year

I didn't go this time but that's a bit odd next year will be the 28th anniversary of Ill at Ease. I remember them saying in 2019 they intended to go out in 2020 for the 25th anniversary of the album but Covid hit.
