1 score of 20+ in his last 10 digs, not good enough.
This is the perfect series to get some new blood in. Pension off Rogers and Haddin and give some of the future stars 3 tests against a pop gun attack at home

Gee, two days ago he was going to be captaining the team this test!

Personally, I would give that role to Steve Smith at the Gabba.

Wade Neville or ludeman? Paine has only scored one shield ton in his 10 years so he's prob behind that group. Hartley is getting on and whiteman is unproven.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Couldn't agree more.
Simply a negative move that sends the wrong message to the opposition.
Really am surprised they still do it with Boof in charge.

Reports on Twitter that his condition is still unknown. Guess he will attempt a warm up this morning.

Dispointing end yesterday. The indians got themselves back in the contest with some late wickets. We really need Smith ti bat on. In my opinion we need 500 on the board as the deck is good.

BUT if this weather stays like thus all day then I wouldn't mind a bowl!

One would thinl Wade would get another chance at first buy I wouldn't mind Neville. I think lomg term Whiteman would be a chance but for the here and now it would be Wade.

I think Rogers maybe done at the end of this series as well.

Paine got dropped from the mappa's so he's a long way down the pecking order, I'd go Ludeman but I'm biased.

It was pleasing to hear Bacchus giving him a mention though, at least he's in the mix.

I think Rogers should be tapped on the shoulder now.

Get someone in and give them a home summer to settle in familiar surroundings.

Marsh always seems fragile. too many ducks and scores under 10

Spot on.

Is now the time to blood an opener like Bancroft, who potentially has 10+ years of First-Class cricket in him? He's in good form this summer, although his career average is only 32. I also noticed he's a part-time wicketkeeper...

Joe Burns is currently in good form, and has a career average of 42.

Or do you go for Nic Maddinson?

The concerning factor to me is that looking through the side yesterday, I saw seven blokes on the wrong side of 30. Unfortunately blokes like Rogers and Watson are now merely short-term solutions to a long-term problem. We really need to start working on the latter now.
