We've had a new machine put into our factory and it beeps continuously all day, every day sometimes every 8 seconds, sometimes a repetitive beep with one second on, one second off, between that and the loud women that screech all day I'm surprised no one isn't wearing my monitor as a neck tie just yet.

One of our guys dropped a box on the way in at a delivery, and a lady tripped over it and hurt herself. Instead of banning him, which would still have been reasonable, they just asked that he signs in before unloading anything, and they will direct him where they want the stuff.

So yesterday, he comes back from the delivery, cracking the shits, because he unloaded first, and when signing in, was told he needed to put the 50+ cartons somewhere else. So he had to cart them all across the facility. I told him that's fair enough, because he knows he has to sign in first now.

This morning, he's going back there with another delivery, and this was the convo -

F**kwit - " Who does the pricing here?"

HH3 - "Why?"

FW - "Because we should charge (insert customers name) more for the f**k around I have to go through now"

HH3 - "Or you could just do your job properly"

FW - "(incoherant screeching)"

I haven't been that angry in a long time, and my face must have told him he needed to shut up, because he did, and then avoided me until he left on his run.

Also, this bullshit prevented me from making a coffee until 40 minutes after arrival.

Waiting in the car at the kids primary school to pick them up, which is a side street with limited parking and parents waiting with younger kids and car comes screaming down the road, must have been close to 100 clicks, narrowly avoids pedestrians, drives on wrong side of road and takes off .. few seconds behind is the unmarked car with internal siren flashing. If it were 10 minutes earlier we'd have dead children on our hands.

Hope the crook gets caught, but not sure the police officer will fare too well out of it either.
