Does anyone care how many tackles Buddy lays.........nope.
734 in his 282 game career at 2.6 per game.

Cool.
So Buddy kicks more goals and lays more tackles than Dixon.
Interesting................

Not really, Buddy is the best key forward in the game.

Could he be the GOAT?

Will go very close.
Top 3 with Carey and Ablett Snr for me.
He’s better than Lockett and Dunstall IMO

Yep, I agree, Ablett snr pulled rank for me.
Carey use to play CHF for Parafield Gardens High School open team when he was in year 9, fair freak early.

Parafield Gardens High eh?
Explains a few things about Carey.

I just think Buddy has more tricks than the other two.
It’s a good argument though as they are all such great players.

Yep, footy has evolved, Dunstall had the luxury of exquisite delivery from arguably the most dominant team of any era, he could obviously hold a grab and kick straight too, probably spent 95% of his career in the forward arc.
Lockett was pure brute strength that allowed him to go one out in the square and kick a bag, his numbers are crazy, imagine if he played at a strong club in the 80's.

Fair difference
