Golf gets that mantle, I could watch tennis with some screaming and tears but I would pull out my own brain out through my nostrils if I had to watch fully grown people walking around hitting a ball into 18 holes. In fact it shouldn't even be labelled a sport so maybe tennis is in the running again.

Agreed,if I had a lobotomy. I dont enjoy cans, prefer kegged beer. I enjoyed golf as a child but it seemed pretty pointless once I became an adult.

Actually I'll take that all back, I just remembered how middle aged social golfers and tennis players stick to golf courses and tennis courts. Road cycling is responsible for so many dickheads on their bikes being on the road atm not to mention the disruption on roads for the pros races so I dub thee the worst most overrated sport/game/past time of all time. I would rather watch 100 hours straight of golf or tennis instead of spending 5 minutes encouraging these lycra clad middle aged wankers to be on our roads.

Those middle aged 'wankers' on bikes, along with the many participants in golf and tennis are keeping themselves out of the health system by looking after themselves. Encourage away I say.

The ones I've worked with or known spend a lot more time in the health system than normal people. Be stupid to encourage it.
I'd encourage pursuits that don't involve so many injuries. ;)

Middle aged people that do not dress in lycra in public nor ride on roads for leisure.

I was going to ask who got out the wrong side of bed, then I remembered you worked last night so you're probably still in it.

Dear me, it is illegal to ride on footpaths.

I often don a pair of footy shorts, a singlet and go for a ride for leisure and fitness, I'd prefer to use paths or roads with bike lanes but that's not always an option.

I think I might go and re-evaluate my life now. :(

There's more of us with you than against you, mate. ;)

In fact, I rode my bike and played golf during the holidays and some grumpy old git won't stop me from doing it again.

Its legal, Ive ridden before but would only ride on tracks so as not to inconvenience anyone.

I still can't believe Booney considered accusing me of getting out of the wrong side of bed, that would involve too much effort!

So you are, I didn't realise they changed it.

I still wouldn't in a residential area, I got cleaned up as a kid from a car reversing out of it's driveway and was riding behind my brother on another occasion where I got to see go hurling into the air and land on the road. No ones fault on either occasion, fences and shrubs.
