4 (Gando,Philth,MVG and Adie Lewis) were automatic selections as the top four ranked players. 4 (Smith,Wade,Thornton and Wright) were wildcard selections by the PDC hierarchy. 2 (Barney and Chizzy) were wildcards selected by the Sky Sports viewers. Thornton probably got a gig over Bunting (who hasn't kicked on like expected after his switch from the BDO) and Klassen by way of his victory in a final over MVG late last year.

I reckon it ended up that the top 10 ranked players got selected. Chisnall has shown some decent form in the last 12 months and has earned his spot.

BDO World Championship final on tomorrow morning between Scott Waites and new cult hero Jeff 'The Silencer' Smith. Waites has won it before but Jeff has played some great darts, finished his hard fought semi final off with a 10 dart leg.

Mvg could have easily averaged 135 too.

Previous best ever on tv was 115 or so

i dunno, i think he has got that combination of confidence, but also doesnt feel arrogant. Not my favourite, but he is still likeable imo.

Kyle Anderson is my favourite, I really hope he plays in more TV tournaments.

Always comes across as pumping himself up, never having a go at the other guy. And when he loses he is always the first to acknowledge them

And a sex offender. Jamie Lewis had his chances to knock him off and didn't take them, missed a couple of crucial double 16's that cost him. The Cross v MVG semi was a pearler, good to see Cross held his bottle. Fingers crossed he sends the grub off with a loss.
