Disappointed for Marcos who had the best car, but no luck.
Probably makes up for last years result.

Another entertaining race, time for some of the 1.5 mile cookie cutters to make way for another couple of road courses.

never happen over there. Been following the sport for near 20 years now , and they had plans to intro some more road courses and the drivers voted against it. As it was against the "history of the sport"
I like the ovals better as the fans do aswell as they get to see the whole lap basically instead of just 2 corners every 2 minutes.

Road courses have always had a place in the championship & there seems to be a push from many within the media for it to be expanded. The drivers & fans all seem to have embraced the road course due to the nature of the racing in the past few seasons.
I personally would also like to see some more traditional style short track circuits to make there way back onto the calender. Sure would beat going to Pocono twice.

So there is some penalties going down for Michael Waltrip racing for the past weekend -

15 laps to go, the last positions in the chase to start next week was going to be Ryan Newman, and Jeff Gordon. Martin Truex JNR was going to miss out. Clint Bowyer , who is a team mate of Martin truex JNR has a spin, the causes a caution, and then after all of this Ryan Newman and Jeff Gordon miss out and Martin Truex JNR gets in (along with joey logano)

Following the race, NASCAR listens into the team radio for Clint Bowyer. Clints spotter says on his radio "oh is your arm hurting", Clint responds with "yeah it is". He then has a spin.
The way that Clint spun out looks like he spun out on purpose because the way things were looking was that Martin Truex JNR would miss out and the other get in.
Since then , NASCAR has come out and punished Michale Wlatrip racing, removed Martin Truex JNR from the chase and Ryan Newman has entered.
A fine to come for MWR and a ban also.
A lot of fans complaining and refusing to watch the chase and watch another NASCAR race until more punishment is given

It seems to have quickly become a three horse race.
Unbelievable form from Kenseth, Johnson & Busch, definitely a class above the rest.

Might come down to who doesn't get caught up in the big one at Talledega

Jimmie Johnson & Chad Knaus are super come the end of season.
Had a few hairy moments at Phoniex, but pretty much had a top 5 car each week.

VF hey, drawing a bit of a long bow, but I'm pretty sure I saw that you owned a General Motors Commodore Bully.
