not often a player gets a lap of honour when he comes of the ground for a four week injury...

3 mad Crow mates all lost their shit at that.
"When did we have to high five blokes going off the field?"
"Be ****** if we have to be nice to each other!"
The pick though :
"If it was Gary Ablett, or Lance Franklin, one of the all time greats and you knew it was the end of a marvelous career that's fine, this is a Collingwood reject who runs around getting cheap ones on the wing"
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

Dinosaur:
“Wayne Carey mentioned that the Adelaide players were ignoring Taylor Walker’s leads,” Cornesy said. “But the key forward has to command. He’s got to time his lead… I’m not sure Taylor was doing that. Do you think they were ignoring his lead?”
Bickley :
“The only thing I can think of is because Adelaide has played numbers behind the ball for the last three or four years, they’ve become used to this overlap run and kicking to uncontested players.
“They’re not used to looking up, seeing a one-on-one and saying, yep, I’ll take that… they’re looking for a bloke on their own all the time and it’s just not going to be there.”

How Taylor hasn't been dropped these past seasons at least once is truly baffling. Seems like a great guy but he has been ordinary for a very long time
