He played his one game for the year against us in the reserves. Can't remember his performance. Spent the rest of the year at PAC.

Think Hartlett is a good judge. Replacing Beech is a tough act. He is a good size.

The Norwood Football Club is pleased to welcome Joeve Cooper from the Murray Bushrangers.

Cooper is an 18-year-old, 174cm small forward from Shepparton,

True but got to start somewhere and couldn’t afford to sit on our hands.
Still a couple more potentially to arrive at the Parade so hopefully our gains can flip the ledger

Excellent pick up for them. Bit envious on this one.
Why, were we trying to recruit him.

Not aware of that, but a strong ball winning mid is on every Clubs shopping list.

And now we nab a strong ball winning mid ourselves.
Wilson Barry a 187cm 21yo mid from Brissies VFL side, also Qld state team.

His stats don't look that great from last year, but only 21 and 187cm. Also, Harry Grant had an average first year, in the recruiters we trust.

Any news on Rhett Montgomerie?

I think Montgomerie will be staying in the VFL with Western Bulldogs, unfortunately.

For those of us over 45 with plain ol boring names like Paul, how does one pronounce Joeve?
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.
