Heard Downs would struggle to kick over a jam tin these days so not sure about your reference to playing up forward Down&out. Thought with his history of injuries running straight at the ball would be easier on his body. He may have bulked up but still a greyhound last time i seen him.....

Exactly!

How often has he reproduced that effort. Toby has got everything and at an early age was in the same representative teams as Jamie and was younger.

I remember playing against their dad, Ronnie and when you beat Peake he was always the last man standing and it almost seemed that he would try harder in a losing team than a winning team. Toby doesn't do that often enough.

One of Jamie's biggest asset's is his football brain and I can see him getting 6 touches for 4-5 goals each week.

Must be very tough for Toby- he tends to be the one targetted by opposition each week- and looking through their scorers each week he seems to play a lone hand?
Flying fox does that mean that there is a tie up with Downs and the other players supposedly coming to Peake?

My mail was it is a package deal for later in the season as players involved couldnt play a whole season. maybe peake will be sleeping giants this year? Downs & co will be the biggest signing in Peake in years...lets hope they deliver the goods.

My source tells me Downs may be taking 2 onballers with him....a firey little fellow who is coming back from a knee reco and a fat little fellow who goes by the name of 'Hawk'. If my source is correct these boys will cause some damage in the MFL....

Have you heard anything about them Down&out??

Not sure fox- Only guess could be Hawkins from Seaton- I think he and Downs are mates- not sure of tie. not sure if he is fat but a season off may not have helped -can find the ball. Fiery fellow is bit tough- Peake could do with a couple of fiery fellows though- prop up there kids a bit!

Mentioned it on another topic, but have heard Pinnaroo have picked up ex Goodwood Saints & Padthaway key position player and ruckman Heath Boseley.

Played Interleague for KNTFL last 2 years.

Good pick up.

Returning home to help run his old mans business.

You have some interest in Peake Carey?? 1.5 hours from Adel between Tailem bend and Lameroo.
FF don't know where you get ridiculous prices like that from the only $1000/ week cost for those blokes will be on tape!

Teams:

Pinnaroo
Lameroo
Border Downs Tintinara
Peake
Murrayville
Karoonda

Carey - as alluded to elsewhere in this post, the Peake Lions would have to pick up an awful lot of players to threaten finals footy this season. They've struggled for most of the past decade.

It'd be nice to see them up there though.

Carey - how many other recruits are they getting?
Because if there's not a massive influx, they'll definitely struggle.
