Round 2:
Hectoville v Modbury - Heccies forfeited last week, will they have improved numbers this week? Modbury's side littered with mates of mine so i'm on the Hawks wagon!
Para Hills v Lockleys - Lockleys look to be strong again this year, interesting to see Blake Foody in the side again. Top 3 finish for Lockleys this season.
TOS v Rosewater - First chance to see Rosewater in action, and a test for perennial contenders TOS and new coach Jason Scott. No Krieg this year is interesting, but TOS is a tricky ground to combat..
Mawson Lakes v Glenunga - much improved side over the course of the season last year, competitive against Lockleys whilst ML struggled for goals in a home loss..
Ingle Farm v Pooraka - Poorka struggled whilst Ingle Farm brushed aside Para Hills.. looking to build on last seasons finals appearance, the Farmers will be hard to beat at home as they eye off a possible top 3 finish this season..

Anyone from Pooraka know how the lad is that required an ambulance on the weekend for a neck injury?? Scary stuff, sincerely hope he is ok!

P.G ingle farm just scrapped over the line in the C grade late in the last quarter after the big guy from pooraka was taken to hospital

see a few A grade players from last year still playing C grade

See the A & B grade also had good wins? Those A grade players may stay down there all season..

They are older players who cant commit on the track as much as the younger blokes pushing to play higher, they offer good support and leadership to the C grade and cant see too many of them moving any time soon.

It's definately a fortunate and healthy position for the club to be in, hopefully can maintain these strong numbers throughout the season.

Pleasing result for our boys, just to get a team to go out to Gawler to play TOSFC and then to take the 2 points is a great result.

Lockleys yet to play anyone who has been really competitive in recent times.

Trinity are normally around the mark and tough at home to beat, also Rosewater with their A/B so strong will filter down and be very good I would imagine.

Ingle Farm should be around the mark, and then despite not winning a game yet, I think Hectorville might push the 5.

Modbury are 2-1 but being the 5th side a lot can change over the course of the season.

Glenunga played good footy last season and made massive improvements, expect them to get better as the season wears on.

So to answer your question, I think there are a lot of sides that can beat Lockleys..

Good call re: Modbury, ive watched a few of our E grade games this year and they look to have a pretty solid core group of players but the side changes very regularly and drastically from week to week.. Round 2 against Heccies i believe we had 35 players out across the club and they still managed to field a decent side.. the next week we had about 6 blokes missing out. From what i saw of TOSC last week they should be very very competitive in C4.

That you can field 5 sides with 35 blokes missing out is mind blowing. Congratulations to all involved
