If 40 points is getting a new one ripped I'd be interested in your assessment/description of a 119 point win?
Diabolical, embarrassing, history in the making, plenty more too.....in the end 40 points was flattering though.
Are you confusing 2012 and 2013. At 3/4 time North were within 13 points of Norwood after North had wasted many opportunities in the third quarter. Bassett admitted that he was worried at that stage. Norwood's superior class and easier run told in the last quarter but even Bassett said that it seemed more like a 20 point game than a 40 point game.
If Langford kicked straight in the third quarter anything could have happened in that GF.
Go Panthers BTW.

My memory is good, not that good.
Can you remember back as far as 2013
Sure can, Norwood ripped North a new one in the GF. Was good to watch.
It was good to watch. 2 real SANFL sides battling it out in a grand final. Hardly call it "ripping a new one" though. Disappointed we let it slip after the 3rd qtr, and disappointed we threw away the double chance in the 1st place. But a great effort to get so far from where we started in the finals. It was a great feeling to be there.
Aaah South, everyone's second favourite team. I do have a soft spot for them seeing as my grandad played for them in the late 50s-early 60s after crossing from Norwood. Let's hope they step up just as that other former basket case in Centrals did before them and play in 12 grand finals in a row...from next year.

Basket case is a pretty harsh comment, mate...
Yes, Central were poor performers in finals in their early days, but were able to turn things around...
Port Adelaide Magpies have been poor performers in recent seasons, having lost their last 5 straight. Are they are a basket case?

P.S - Go Panfers
Bit unfair BP Port have really turned it around this year. In fact you'd think they were a different club such is the improvement.

Any club that goes without a premiership for 10 years or more in a 9-10 club competition is a basket case.
